After nine enthralling rounds of the HSBC World Rugby Sevens Series, the season eventually comes to an end at the “home of rugby”. London invites fans around the globe to the last leg of what has been the biggest 7s series yet. This might be once again Fiji’s big year as they can win back-to-back titles this weekend. One man could make all the difference for Ben Ryan’s side this weekend.

WHO’S THE FAVOURITE?
The last two tournaments in Singapore and Paris both ended in unpredicted shock wins for Kenya and Samoa – which proved that 7s is still full of surprises even on the top level. London is a good ground for big upsets as the USA shown last year when they beat Australia in the final to win their first-ever Cup. However, Fiji will try everything to win back-to-back series titles. Second placed South Africa focus will be on stopping the Fijians on the last leg to secure the first series trophy since 2008-09 and three successive years of ending in second position.
ONE TO WATCH
Since a couple of weeks the rugby world is talking about one man. Former NFL and NRL star Jarryd Hayne did get the green light to play for his dad’s birth country Fiji last minute. Fans around the world will be excited to see this extraordinary athlete back on a rugby field.
After nine out of 10 rounds Fiji gathered 166 points together. They are now 14 points ahead of second-placed South Africa, which should be enough to bring the series title back home again. New Zealand in third position with 145 points still has a realistic chance to snatch the second place this weekend.
