On another lovely summer day, 16 teams came down to Hartpury to compete for the 4th Hartpury Corporate Challenge Cup. The annual corporate touch tournament offers teams a great opportunity to enjoy a day out of office, team bonding and networking.
Title defenders Rolls Royce managed to make it to the Cup final once again, however this year it was their opponents Deloitte, which had the last word in an exciting and very tight contest which ended 4:3. Hosts Hartpury lost to Deloitte in the semi-finals while Rolls Royce beat Safran Landing System in the other Cup semi-final.
The only corporate touch rugby tournament in Gloucestershire returns this week with 16 companies competing for the annual Hartpury Corporate Challenge Cup. The fourth edition of the tournament features businesses from Gloucester, Cheltenham, Bristol and Cardiff during a unique and action-packed day at Hartpury College and University.
For the first time, the event will take place on a Friday offering participating teams the opportunity to finish a hard-working week in style. The Challenge Cup was launched for the first time in 2015 as part of the World Cup Trophy Tour and is now a regular fixture in the busy rugby calendar of the college.
